- In our Tebessüm Kahvesi project, whose first location opened on 21 March 2016 and second on 3 December 2019, we work with 10 young people with Down syndrome aged 20-39. As Üsküdar Municipality (Üsküdar Belediyesi), we naturally support this step toward their inclusion in social life. To guide and support our young people with Down syndrome and run this organization, we stand alongside them with our special education teacher and staff trained in appropriate communication techniques for young people with Down syndrome.
