At a time when nature is being recklessly destroyed, polluted and depleted, we host our country’s first animal-themed museum, with contributions from our esteemed artist Sunay Akın, who has shared objects from his collection with us. Inspiring visitors to love nature and animals while raising awareness, Kedi Müzesi brings together cats from the history of fairy tales, toys, games and comics under one roof. Focusing on nature conservation, the museum includes a Noah’s Ark section, while one gallery presents outstanding examples from football history inspired by the expression “Cat Goalkeeper”. As the first museum to bring together cats from imaginary worlds, its rich collection also makes it a pioneer in its field. Kedi Müzesi is open on weekdays between 09.00 and 17.00 and is closed to visitors on weekends. Admission is free.
