Description

This single-story building with a rectangular floor plan was built in Kağıthane village during the reign of Sultan II. Abdulhamid. Following the British occupation of İstanbul, it was used as a gendarmerie station from the Republican era onward, and as a police station after 1970. Today, the building serves as Sadabad Polis Merkezi in Merkez neighborhood. Completed with contributions from Restorasyonu Kağıthane Municipality, the building is among the district's important historic sites.
