“Hünerli Eller”: A Fine Example of Women's Solidarity. Supporting women's social and economic empowerment, Küçükçekmece Municipality (Küçükçekmece Belediyesi) enables women to form lasting bonds and come together to earn income from their handmade products through the Hünerli Eller Project. With the launch of the Küçükçekmece Municipality (Küçükçekmece Belediyesi) Directorate of Women's and Family Services, the 26 wooden houses in Hünerli Eller Çarşısı, where women offer their products for sale, were thoroughly repaired, all deficiencies were addressed, and the houses were opened for women's use. Women can use the wooden houses in Hünerli Eller Çarşısı free of charge in groups of 26 for periods of 15 days. Women from Küçükçekmece can contribute to their household budgets by selling their lovingly handmade products at the bazaar.
