Description: The academy began teaching in 2013 under the name Traditional Arts Academy. In the 2020-2021 academic year, it expanded its workshops, developed its course content and curriculum, and signed an academic cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University. It then began operating as an art school named Küçükçekmece Municipality (Küçükçekmece Belediyesi) Fine Arts Academy, hosting national and international cultural and artistic events. With its distinctive structure, it became the first public arts center of its kind in Türkiye. Initially focused on traditional arts, it evolved over the years into a major arts education institution encompassing traditional, contemporary and digital arts. As part of its transformation into a Fine Arts Academy, 3 studios were established: a Digital Studio, a Video Art Studio and an Animation Studio.
