Description

Classes continue at Beşiktaş Akademi, established by our municipality as part of its ongoing efforts to make Beşiktaş a student-friendly city. It helps students prepare for high school and university while supporting residents' personal development through arts and culture courses. Beşiktaş Akademi has 19 classrooms. Our center provides ongoing instruction in weekday and weekend groups and also has a parent information system. Its educational program is as follows: Beşiktaş Akademi accepts grade 8 students preparing for the high school placement exam, grade 12 students preparing for the university placement exam, and graduates up to age 20. Students preparing for university placement exams can study in three tracks: quantitative, verbal and equally weighted quantitative-verbal. Students preparing for high school and university exams attend classes in separate weekday and weekend groups according to the center's schedule. Free supplementary English and Mathematics courses for students in grades 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 support their school studies in intermediate grades. Our specialist guidance teachers and counselors offer free school and university selection counseling during the preference submission periods following the entrance exams. Every student at Beşiktaş Akademi receives guidance throughout the academic year, with individual study plans prepared and monitored throughout the term. Supplementary books, test books and test worksheets are distributed free of charge to 2000 students studying at the academy. Free mock exams are held during exam preparation periods.
