Description

Opened in 1995, Atakent Kültür ve Sanat Merkezi (formerly Halkalı Kültür ve Sanat Merkezi) is a modern community hub with a multipurpose hall seating 386, an exhibition hall, foyer, classrooms, library and gym. Hosting a wide range of valuable activities, including adult and children's theater, film screenings, talks and exhibitions, AKSM will continue to be an essential part of local life in the years ahead. In addition to painting and photography exhibitions, its 162 m2 exhibition space is suitable for displaying sculpture and visual art. It was renamed Atakent Kültür ve Sanat Merkezi in 2015.
